TAINOKI FINE FURNITURE
Voluntary Chair Recall
Tainoki Fine Furniture has issued a voluntary recall on select swivel office chair models sold at HomeGoods due to a potential defect in the chair base. The recalled chairs' base can bend, posing a fall hazard. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled chairs.
Important: Not all chairs under these model numbers are affected. Only specific batches have the defect. Please review the identification section below to determine if your chair is part of the recall.

Is My Chair Affected?
Flip your chair over and compare the base to the images below. The affected chairs have smooth, round tubular legs. The correct (non-affected) chairs have flat channel legs with visible rivets.
If you are unsure whether your chair is affected, please call us or email a photo of your chair base to hello@tainoki.com and we will help you determine if your unit is part of the recall.
How To Participate In The Recall
If your chair is affected, please follow the steps below. Do not dispose of your chair until we have verified it is from an affected batch.
Stop using the chair immediately. Do not sit in or use the recalled chair.
Photograph the base: Flip the chair over and take a clear photo of the underside so we can verify your chair is from an affected batch.
Email us: Send the photo to hello@tainoki.com along with your full name, phone number, and mailing address. We will review and confirm whether your chair is affected within 1-2 business days.
Mark the chair: Once we confirm your chair is affected, use a Sharpie black marker to write "RECALL" and today's date on the chair.
Photograph the marked chair: Take a photo of the chair clearly showing the "RECALL" marking and date.
Email the photo: Send the photo of the marked chair to hello@tainoki.com. Once we receive and verify the photo, we will send you a disposal waiver to sign and then issue your full refund.
Refund Information
You will receive a full refund of the purchase price plus applicable sales tax for your state. Refunds will be issued via check or Zelle, your choice. Please indicate your preferred refund method when you email us.
Refunds will be processed after we receive the photo of the marked chair and the signed disposal waiver.
